Deborah Shepard, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at the Newnan, Georgia, location of Southern Crescent Women’s HealthCare. She has been on the team since 2010, specializing in the complete obstetric care of low- and high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive surgeries, menopause, and infertility. Dr. Shepard began her education at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. After graduating with her undergraduate degree, she stayed in Michigan to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for her master’s degree in public health. After obtaining her master’s degree, she decided to pursue medicine and earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. In 2002, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

When she isn’t at Southern Crescent Women’s HealthCare providing care to women of all ages, Dr. Shepard enjoys gardening, cooking, yoga, and DIY projects. She loves nature, trying new things, and spending time with her family and many friends.
