Back in July, our contact from the March of Dimes arranged lunch with Sonja Aboyade from the Fayette County Chapter’s Jack and Jill of America, Inc. organization and Maria Morrow of Southern Crescent Women’s Healthcare. The purpose of the lunch was to introduce Centering Pregnancy to the Jack and Jill organization as they were seeking a local service project that would directly benefit children. After discussing Centering Pregnancy, Sonja suggested their organization could gather baby supplies for the Centering patients. In December, the Jack and Jill Fayette County chapter representatives reached out to confirm a date to drop off the supply baskets.

Maria Morrow had the honor of meeting a few of the children and mothers who visited the SCWH Fayette office to drop off the numerous baskets filled with baby supplies like diapers, wipes, baby shampoo, lotion, toys, clothes, etc.

There were a total of 30 children who helped with this very special project.  We felt so overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and kindness from these children and the organization. What a blessing to our patients and our practice!

We will be distributing these baskets to patients enrolled in Centering pregnancy.
