Meg Hanshaw is a certified Physician Assistant who joined Southern Crescent Women’s HealthCare in August 2018.
She studied pre-med at Georgia College and State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology. She discovered her love of the PA profession shortly after graduation and later went on to attend Mercer University’s Physician Assistant program, graduating with a Master of Medical Science. Upon graduation, she was inducted into Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants, representing the top of her class.
She is certified by the NCCPA and is a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Meg discovered her passion for women’s health during clinical rotations in her graduate program as well as during her time spent volunteering with Wellspring. She takes great pride in caring for her patients and loves to help women of all ages achieve their best health possible.
Meg was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia and lives in Sandy Springs with her husband and two golden retrievers. She enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
