Kailee Bowlden, CNM, APRN, joined our practice as a Certified Nurse-Midwife in early 2024. She began caring for women, babies, and families seven years ago as a labor and delivery Registered Nurse. In nursing school, she had the opportunity to join a midwife-led delivery where the midwife guided Kailee through her first delivery which immediately captured her respect and admiration for childbirth.
She then began her nursing career working with many great midwives where her passion in caring for women and families through their birthing experiences grew. This inspired her to continue her graduate education in midwifery.
Her educational background includes receiving her Associate’s degree in Nursing at Gordon State College followed by her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Georgia Southern University. While continuing to work in labor and delivery, she received her Master’s degree in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.
Kailee was born and raised in Georgia, where she calls Fayette County her home. She is married to her nursing school sweetheart with two amazing sons. Kailee and her husband are remodeling their 120+ year-old home together and she enjoys most things vintage and antique. She prefers a simple way of life including crocheting, thrifting, and tending to her chickens and Summer garden. Kailee has a passion for shared decision-making and respecting the physiologic birth process.
