Britton Crigler, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Southern Crescent Women’s Healthcare. He began his career as an OBGYN in Woodstock, Georgia in 2013 and moved to Peachtree City in June of 2022. He sees patients in the Newnan and Fayetteville office locations. His primary interests include high and low risk obstetrics, pelvic pain, endometriosis, pain with intercourse, and menopausal symptoms. He specializes in many in-office procedures and minimally invasive surgeries such as hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, laparoscopic bilateral tubal ligation.
Dr. Crigler completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Duke University and then went on to University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC where he earned his medical degree. He then moved to Tampa, FL and completed his residency program at Tampa General Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Crigler enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Lauren, and two children enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, running, swimming, kayaking, and playing tennis. Dr. Crigler strongly believes exercise, good sleep habits, and a healthy diet play a critical role helping you feel your best. During a medical mission trip to Ecuador, Dr. Crigler was exposed to a primarily plant-based diet which eventually inspired him to become vegan in 2013.
