I was born and raised in the small town of Cochran, GA, and graduated nursing school from Georgia College & State University cum laude with my BSN in 2012 where I was the treasurer for my nursing class. I started my career in labor and delivery and always knew that’s where I would end up because I have been fascinated with birth since “A baby story” came out on TLC. I had several amazing CNM mentors while working as an RN that encouraged me to go back to school to pursue midwifery. I graduated cum laude from Frontier Nursing University in 2017 and began my career as a midwife in the same hospital where I worked as an RN in Macon, GA.

My family relocated from Warner Robins, GA, and we are excited to make Fayette County our home. I have been married to Bill since 2015 and we have 2 young sons. I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family. My hobbies include working out at Orangetheory, baking, coffee, and trying new restaurants. We are active in church.

I am passionate about women’s health, specifically pregnancy from pre-conception through postpartum. There is something magical about being a part of a birth, it is new and exciting each time. I am excited to be a part of such an amazing team that is passionate about practicing high quality, evidence based obstetrics.

I didn't want a male physician, however Dr. Crigler was very easy to talk to. His bed side manner is very calming. Prior to the exam, I was able to discuss my concerns in private, then he buzzed his assistant in while he did the exam. I am very pleased.I've been to SCWH before, the last time the staff felt like a bunch of talkative gossiping students. Now it felt like the staff were more focused about their business and not everyone else's. I'm thankful for that.The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, because I'm still waiting to hear from them about my lab results. It's been 9 days today.

We often get caught up in leaving negative reviews to warn others. Rarely remembering or providing feedback on the positive things. I wanted to take this time to provide my feedback on SCWH -Fayette location. I was skeptical about visiting this location due to previous reviews. I Decided that it will be best for me to find out on my own which I did. Despite having a bad experience with one of the doctors; When I visited the Newnan location. I decided to give the practice another try with a different provider. I made an appointment online to see Dr. Perry-Walker last minute; she was very kind and listened to my concerns; never interrupted or made me feel shame for what i was going through. I have recently seen Dr. Dean. I was experiencing a MC; and was in the er. He came in and spoke to me; we knew there was no hope; he did make me feel better by speaking to me and giving me news directly instead of beating around the bush! He was very compassionate! He also listened to my concerns and gave me hope for the future! The bedside manner is amazing for he, dr. Perry- walker, and dr. Dyson! Also, Susan and Mandy the Ultrasound Specialist are amazing and very personable. They don’t make the experience awkward. They are very very sweet and knowledgeable. I will not forget about Nicole the phlebotomist. She is literally the sweetest and very reassuring!!! Please be your own Judge before going off of reviews. However 10/10 will def go back again !!!!

Dr Slade is an amazing OB and surgeon! She was not only professional and knowledgeable but her compassion and bedside manner was phenomenal! I love being able to ask question and getting a real answer and not a "why you don't know that already" approach. Also can we say "what scare are you talking about?" My incision looks beautiful. You would never believe bikini cut less than 6 weeks ago.Dr Slade you deserve all your flowers 💐

Dr. Perry is an amazing doctor! She has been so patient with me throughout the year as I bring concerns to her. She always listens and hears my concerns. She truly takes her time during our appointments to sit and make me feel heard. I have NEVER felt rushed by her. Truly an amazing doctor!

Dr Perry was amazing! She was personable, professional, and very approachable. Her demeanor made me know she cared about her career choice. Dr Perry was very thorough, and gave me a clear understanding of all questions I asked. She came across as relaxed, and in doing so, make my visit very pleasant. Dr Perry is certainly an asset to the medical field. I look forward to many years under her care.
