Hysteroscopy
Southern Crescent Women’s HealthCare
Hysteroscopy is an outpatient procedure used to diagnose and treat problems of your uterus. During a hysteroscopy, a thin illuminated device is inserted through your cervix and into the uterus which allows your doctor to visualize the inside of your uterine cavity. Hysteroscopy is often done for the evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding. While it can be done in the operating room of the hospital, we can also perform it in our office.
