I was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Clayton State University in 2011. Going into nursing school, I knew I  would land in either women’s health or pediatrics. When I completed my pediatrics rotation in school, I knew that was not where my heart was. When I completed my labor and delivery rotation, I was in love and absolutely felt at home.

I’ve always enjoyed teaching people. Much of nursing is educating patients and I felt a growing desire to be able to educate in a bigger capacity than I could as a labor nurse. I knew I would be able to do that as well as fulfill my dream of caring for women in varying stages of life and pregnancy by furthering my education. I graduated with a Masters degree from Georgetown University.
Being a midwife has truly been a dream come true! I can’t imagine doing anything else! I truly feel blessed to work with such an amazing team with Southern Crescent Women’s Healthcare!

When I am not delivering babies or caring for women in the office, I enjoy spending time with my four sons! They keep me busy with their extracurricular activities like baseball and basketball. I also enjoy being in nature, traveling, reading and working out!
